Is KEEPIT safe even if it is accidentally ingested?

KEEPIT is not a kind of food and should not be eaten on purpose. If it's accidentally ingested by either you or a pet. Please rest assured. Our KEEPIT product is made from safe ingredients which all comply with SGS DMF, ISO9001:2008,SGS.

I only use a few oxygen absorbers at a time. Will opening and closing the master bag affect the perfomance of KEEPIT?

This is not recommended because it will cause the KEEPIT contact with air as many times as the bag has been opened . If you can't use one bag completely at once, we recommend you divide them into small quantities and place them into high oxygen barrier ba

How long of a shelf life do the oxygen absorbers themselves have?

We can guarantee the effectiveness of KEEPIT will last about one year, if it is sealed in the original master bag.

Can your absorber KEEPIT be used in frozen conditions?

Yes. QT type can be used in freezing temperature down to -13℉（-25℃）.

Can your absorber KEEPIT work in a bucket of rice?

Yes ,it can.

Is there anything noteworthy when I put the KEEPIT in a food bag?

It would probably work just fine if you minimize the time from initial original package opening to sealing up a food bag.The longer they are left out, the more their capacity to absorb oxygen is depleted.

Can I store the unused ones in a vacuum bag to keep them fresh?

They will do fine in a vacuum bagor you can use an extra layer of vacumme bag for double protection from the sharp edges.

Are these FDA approved?

They do meet FDA specifications for direct contact with dry food items. 

Would these be beneficial in a glass jar container full of pet food that I am going to open daily?

Probably not, as long as you are opening the jar up daily. The absorbers are meant to pull out oxygen and only opened infrequently. When you open and close it daily, you are defeating the purpose and each absorber will be depleted quickly. 

For coffee lovers: Would these be good to put in with coffee beans to help prolong freshness?

It would if your coffee would sit for a while before you use it.
