Oxygen indicator principle

The working principle of oxygen indicators mainly based on chemical reactions, especially redox reactions. When oxygen is present in the measured environment, a chemical reaction occurs between the oxygen and the indicator under the action of a catalyst, resulting in a visible color change. The indicator is a redox indicator whose color is related to the chemical state of the substance being detected. Under different oxygen concentrations, there will be corresponding differences in color. No matter what color it turns into, as long as it is different from the original color, it proves that the deoxidizer has absorbed oxygen.

Oxygen indicator Usage

Oxygen indicators can quickly judge the presence or absence of oxygen in an airtight packaging according to color change. It can determine whether the oxygen  removal seal is effective or not.Generally used for environmental testing in special industries such as tea, cake, dried vegetable & fruits, jerky and anaerobic bacteria culture.

Oxygen indicator Storage

1. Please store in cold and dark place away from light, The  recommended storage temperature is  2-8℃ , it is best to store it refrigerated when temperature is high in Summer.

2. To use it within 3 months after production.
